So I’ve read many times that milk thistle is very beneficial, so I’ve taken it before but I can’t say I noticed anything life changing about it…just figured it was helping but more under the radar in terms of noticeable benefits. Well, I just recently watched a docuseries class on the liver and milk thistle helps make glutathione which is very beneficial to the liver and the body just in general. So I decided to try again. I looked for the strongest, organic one I could find.
I don’t really have any known liver issues, however I do have kidney issues. Both liver and kidneys work to filter waste and toxins from the body. My kidneys don’t filter like they need to so I thought perhaps giving my liver some extra support might also help my kidneys. And it definitely seems to be working!! What I notice: 1. Ankle swelling is almost totally gone. 2. I believe it is helping me sleep better. 3. Feel more energetic which is a big deal with kidneys not functioning to full capacity. This is helping. 4. Improving elimination in the morning. It’s now easier and more complete. Disclosure: I take more than the recommended dose. I usually take 3 a day. What I like is that this is organic, veggie capsules, and extra strength extract – I can actually tell it is helping me. What I don’t like is the small capsule count. I wish they offered bigger bottles with 120 caps, and at a bit better price. But this is worth it for me.

I decided to try Organic Milk Thistle after dealing with a long string of illness and realizing that my immune system really wasn’t as strong as it once was. I really wanted to detox. I was always tired and lethargic too. So, I tried it and have been using it for 3 weeks. It is now a part of my slightly adjusted eating habits (nothing extreme) and my new work out regiment and I can say that I sense a difference. I’m not as tired as I used to be, and I’ve been less susceptible to colds (the test was being around a bunch of kindergarteners with sniffles and coughs…and a week later, I still had no signs of a cold. That was huge!). So far, so good. I’ll update this review in a few months when I can assess the longer term effects.

Milk thistle is part of my regimen of supplements so I hope it’s working. Hard to tell what’s going on in the insides but at least it’s made in the USA. And hopefully regulated and honorable

My cat’s Veternarian recommended she take a 1/3 capsule of this brand of Milk Thistle because I wanted something organic, since she has a hard time filtering out toxins due to kidney/renal failure and pancreatitis. She was having a hard time tolerating any medications or even TCM natural herbal formulas & supplements, I believe & the Vet. agreed that her body is probably overloaded and the Milk Thistle would help.At first she foamed at the mouth because it was so bitter when I mixed it with just a liquid (bone broth). She is ok w/ it mixed with a Rx pate food taken by mouth with a syringe. I am seeing how it goes & I will incorporate her meds in gradually after her system clears. This happens to me as well when my body is overloaded with medications natural or not and I used Milk Thistle in the past to detox. My family’s 2 cats tried this brand but were too sensitive to it and had diarrhea, I am cutting the dosage to 1/2 of the 1/3 of a pill dosage mixed w/ food & will see how they do. I know this formula is more potent and read reviews that a few people had sensitivities or it was too strong. It’s hard to find organic Milk Thistle so will buy again but being aware of side effects,lowering dosage or starting off at a lower dose for critters or humans. Consult a dr. first if there are any preexisting med. conditions and if not able to tolerate it. Milk Thistle works so try to lower it first and if that doesn’t work try another brand if it is still to potent, it has to be 80% Silymarin though for it to work.

Wow. Unbelieveable. Noticed a dramatic difference after just one dose. I have fatty liver disease and decided to try taking this because my enzymes were elevated. I wasn’t expecting any noticeable effects. The night I took this I got the best sleep of my life. Normally I have general, non-local muscle aches at night which cause me to toss and turn. I have since come to find out that milk thistle is a VERY powerful anti-inflammatory, that it is also an anti-cancer agent, and that it also helps with allergies (that was another thing I noticed today; I usually sneeze and have to blow my nose frequently, and I haven’t had to do that once today). Its also supposed to help with diabetes, high cholesterol levels, and gallstones. I also noticed that my skin was just glowing today. Well I have come to find out that milk thistle can also have an anti-aging effect on the skin. I noticed all of these things BEFORE reading up on the benefits of this supplement, so I know that my observations are not psychosomatic. I can never be without this supplement now. Its life altering. I cannot recommend this supplement enough. Absolutely outstanding.

I did purchase this product and took a chance that It would work for my wife and I. I take this product every day and my wife also takes this product. I purchased it for a fatty Liver issue and because my wife can not take just anything because it upsets the stomach. With this product she can take the Milk Thistle and not upset her stomach. I would recommend this product now that I have tried it plus my wife and I take it everyday. I would also state I did research what can be taken over the counter that we do not need a doctor for that works the best. This product does seem to help and I am a person that will try and then trust. I will be purchasing this product again.

Because of my weight my doctor said that a concern might be fatty liver. I’ve been reading up on possible supplements for cleansing the liver and came across milk thistle. I have been trying other brands and happened to see yours on tsvital. I like the fact that it’s an Organic product and that it has a good dose and not much fillers. I am on medication and trying to prevent damage to my organs, I don’t know exactly how effective this product is or has been- however I am hopeful and have not had any negative issues since starting this product. I would like to add more supplements to my routine but need to find bundles or somehow a package for my health issues, if that makes sense.

I had elevated live enzyme, and my eyes feel dry when wearing contact lenses. After I used this product for about a months, my eyes feel much better. In Chinese medicine, liver is linked to eyes, so I assume my liver function must have improved. I will have my liver function checked soon and will update when I get the results.

My liver was damaged by a pain medication. My body was producing ammonia. This product helped to clear the ammonia from my system. My breathing was very affected. Constant coughing and feeling congestion in my neck and upper chest. This product cleared this up rapidly. I love this product. Milk Thistle is one of my power herbs – I really feel when I have it in my daily diet and when I don’t. I usually take tincture but I was simply going through it too quickly so I decided to try these high dose extract capsules. It took about five days for me to feel the effects so I wasn’t sure about it at first but now am completely convinced. I imagine the capsule has a gentler impact than alcohol extract and so took a little longer for me to notice. I would buy this product again.

this is an important supplement for overall health and improving immune function.Milk thistle may help strengthen a person’s immune response and help them fight off infection. I find these capsules easy to swallow. I started with one a day and could increase to two a day for a short period of time to get even more results. Have not had any side effects at all. Although there is a tea of milk thistle , I find this easier to use every day.
